We Do
Peak Season is a local food distributor, curating, selling, and delivering Maine grown and Maine produced food throughout Maine. We connect small, independent farmers and food producers to the innovative chefs in Maine’s restaurants & event centers, the award winning bakers, the local food buyers at co-ops & specialty stores, and the school nutrition teams feeding the next generation. We see ourselves as stewards of local food, partners of farmers, and purveyors to those in the kitchen, providing the best Maine has to offer.
How We Work
We work closely with over 80 Maine farmers and food producers who deliver to our warehouse in Waldo County. At the distribution hub, we store the best of Maine’s seasonal produce, eggs & dairy products, plant proteins, grains, and other value-added products under one roof. We pack up your unique order and deliver your selection of local food to your door. We make selling and buying local easy.

We Deliver
We make deliveries Tuesday through Friday to as far south as Old Orchard Beach and north to Presque Isle, east to MDI, and out west to Rumford. We are proud to help connect customers in 14 of Maine’s 16 counties to Maine grown food, including areas further afield that often lack access to local produce and value added products.
